About My Recipes

In order to give you a basic understanding of what you may need in order to prepare your face masks, creams, cleansers, etc., here are a few words about my recipes...

On the list provided below, the selected fruits are arranged alphabetically by name, not by their cosmetic properties or skin type indications. The actual recipes include the exact content of vitamins and minerals that each fruit contains, along with the descriptions of their cosmetic and natural properties, and their proper application and benefits for each type of skin.

All recipes explain the proper way to prepare tea/fruit/plant infusions and/or extracts in order to attain the expected results. All instructions are brief and to the point and include both the proper removal methods and the suggested frequency use for each mask. If you are allergic to any fruits, throughout the recipes, there are alerts which will remind you to be cautious. All recipes include the scientific botanical names of fruits, plus a small glossary of cosmetic terms which have been provided to assist you in cases where you may want to compare notes, or do further research before you use.

Additional and complimenting vitamins and/or natural oils used in recipes are not shown on this list -- but ARE included in the actual recipes. And, I can assure you ladies that as you start preparing your creams, most of the ingredients are already located somewhere in your fridge or kitchen cabinets. These recipes do not contain information on the treatment of acne or rosacea. Also, please click here and read before buying and/or using these recipes.

Hi everyone and thank you for stopping by! My name is Stephanie and I am the author of these recipes.

If you are looking for information on how to make your own face masks using only natural ingredients, I am offering you here a rare selection of beauty recipes I doubt you'll find anywhere else.

All these recepies are based on well-kept secrets about the natural powers of fruits, a knowledge which has been passed by word-of-mouth from generation-to-generation. Now, it's my turn to share it with you. I hope that, you too, will follow my advice and soon will experience the amazing results of these homemade face masks.

Since I first published this collection of recipes as a small pocket book in 1996, my face masks have been used by hundreds of women in over twenty countries on four continents. Now, once you complete the payment process, you can access all the recipes instantly, here, online. You can read, print, or save them and, most importantly, enjoy their benefits!

There are no ads, whatsoever, on the recipes page and there is nothing that you need to download to your computer. All that you'll find is a great collection of many homemade beauty recipes (and secrets) that you and your friends will enjoy making and using again and again. And all that, laid out on a clean, elegantly designed web page, just as you would expect.

Now, in case you wonder, here's a brief history of my recipes...

This collection of homemade skin care recipes is the result of a family trade which I picked up as a young girl from my grandmother who, for over sixty years (!) has been using fruits, vitamins and teas in order to stay, as she would put it, "healthy, young and pretty".

Myself, I have been using these recipes, successfully, for over twenty years. Yet, the first time I actually wrote them down on paper (and sorted them by skin type and function) was in 1996 when, while a business student, I presented them "packaged" for an annual marketing project. Shortly after that, and as the result of an overwhelming interest in them from women of all ages, I decided to share this knowledge by printing a small, pocket book. A few months later, I found myself shipping copies of this little book to women all over the world.

In 2002 I released the second version of this collection, this time, in a digital format available on CD and which contains all the original recipes that you can now get instant access to, online, here on this web site.

This is not a medical reference!

If you believe in the powerful relationship between nature, health and beauty, then this is the info you've been looking for! This is not only about making your everyday face masks; this is also about beauty and who you are. However, this is not a medical reference!

All recipes made available here were put together after women with different skin types successfully used all suggested creams for several years. In doing so, not only did they maintain a healthy and beautiful-looking skin, but they also managed to built a priceless self-esteem. The author, herself, has been using regularly these recipes for over twenty years.

Throughout the content of this collection, I made notes as to the appropriate use of each recipe. Also, in an effort to provide you with some contextual terminology, I have included a small glossary of basic terms. However, for full professional advice and complete information regarding different definitions of skin types, problems and treatments, you should see a dermatologist. Please note that this collection of skin creams does not contain information on the treatment of specific skin problems such as acne, rosacea or other related medical conditions.

If you have serious skin problems, or are allergic to (certain) fruits, I advise you not to use this collection of recipes as a potential remedy. If that is your case, I strongly recommend that you see your dermatologist for professional advice on skin treatments.
Do not use these recipes as substitutes to your physician's advice.

Should you decide to use these recipes, I suggest you use only natural, fresh fruits and not scented or flavored simulates that may appear to replace the genuine. Still, as each of us is unique, results may vary. Not all recipes may give the same described result for everyone.

Yet, the final decision lies with you. By making use of the information found in this collection of recipes (made available whether in the printed book, on the CD, or on this web site) you understand that you waive your right to hold liable the author of these recipes, or the publisher of this material, as to any kind of direct or consequential damages that may occur from your decision to use the recipes. By purchasing and using the information in this collection of skin creams, you understand and agree with all the terms provided herein.
