:: Sorry, there are no classifieds here. If you are here to post classified ads, or to list items or services that fall under the "free", "buy & sell", "new & used" categories, you are on the wrong site.

:: We do not list or advertise individual items such as, or belonging to: art & antiques, boats, autos, clothing, computers & electronics, miscellaneous goods and merchandise, hobbies, collectibles or collector's items, household items, jobs, office or building supplies, pets, hunting or sporting goods, toys. We do not advertise items or services labeled as "best deal" or "best offer". You cannot post here "wanted" ads, trade, barter/swap and/or "work from home" / "business opportunities".

Use of Cookies

PacificWebcard.com and all its digital properties (e.g. websites) do not use cookies, nor do they write or add, any hidden files (to your computer) that would track your navigational habits.

Collecting and Sharing of Personal Information

:: Pacific Webcard / Directory does not collect personal information. Our directory deals strictly with business information. If you and your business are the same entity, i.e. operating a business as a self-employed person, then you will have to make a judgment as to what information you submit to us. Whatever you submit to us, will be treated as business information.

:: Nowhere on this side will you find a field that will ask you to provide your:

weight and/or height

medical records

blood type, DNA code

income

purchases and spending habits

race, ethnic origin or colour

religion

marital status or sexual preferences

fingerprints or criminal record

home address and phone number (unless you operate a business from home)

:: Any information that you may submit to us as part of a business entry or advertisement, that we considerinappropriate for the purpose of this service, will be discarded immediately.

:: Pacific Webcard does not compile lists of personal or business information, nor do we sell, rent, make available, or share any information that you send to us to any third parties.

:: As an advertising vehicle, our directory includes (only the) information that you request to be made public. That is: (1) your company's name, (2) a website address (URL) and (3) a business description.

Safeguards and No Permission Pages

:: As an internet advertising vehicle, and in order to best serve our clients, the performance, functionality and purpose of PacificWebcard.com are closely monitored by our editorial and technical staff. Our servers use a number of web analytics programs that do collect the IP addresses of computers accessing PacificWebcard websites. These programs DO NOT match the IP numbers with the visitors' browsing patterns, or their geolocation; nor do we use the IP numbers to serve pop-ups and unwanted ads. However...

:: Any attempts to temper with the site, its content, performance, email programs, webpages and/or hosting configuration will be tracked. I these cases, the offending computer IPs will be matched with their unlawful activities, recorded and reported to authorities.

:: Message: "You Do Not Have Permission To Access This Directory". In addition to the publicly advertised pages, PacificWebcard.com also contains (supporting) sections that have neither advertising or technical value to you. Remember that, while on a website, you are in fact on someone (digital) property. Enjoy your visit, the picknick and all the provided goodies but, please, don't look in the closets. If you are the curios type and trying (for reasons only you know) to access one of these directories you will be prompted with a "NO PERMISSIONS" page. If you do encounter such a message while on our site, go back to the previous page and follow the provided links. Please, don't try your luck with the 'NO PERMISION' pages as repeated attempts to bypass them will trigger the recording of your computer's IP and everything that you are doing on our site from that point on.

:: Due to both privacy considerations, and as an anti-spam policy, Pacific Webcard Directory does not publish telephone numbers and/or email addresses in its listings. Yet, for contact purposes, list verifications and security purposes, you do need to send us your phone number and email address as part of your directory submission. Emails are required in order to send you receipts and advertising info regarding your submissions.

Page Not Found and Redirect Messages (404/301)

:: Pages not found (404 errors). Due to both content management and marketing purposes, Pacific Webcard Directory is always being organized an reindexed. The ads we publishes are also indexed by search engines and it is possible that when coming from a search query, you will click on a link pointing to an expired or deleted ad. When that happens, you will be prompted with a '404/page not found' error after which you will be redirected to the directory's home page where you can search for that page.

:: Automatic Redirects. By concept, Pacific Webcard and its directory sites are design to give you access to all advertising pages by providing appropriate links. However, our website and directory are far larger than the obvious. Due to our ongoing web marketing and development programs, there are pages that, most likely, you will arrive to directly from search engines. These are specialized display ads, company business profiles, directory enhanced listings and special projects (marketing, design, research, case studies, etc). If, for any reason, you get to a 'dead end' while browsing our site/s, you will (once again) be taken to the directory's home page by an automatic redirect link.
